Blah, blah, blah… EXCUSES

So, this post isn’t what you think it’s about. It’s not about making excuses about workouts or eating too many brownies (though I’m guilty of the later). It’s about excuses as to why this blog has been neglected and why these posts have been so boring.

When I started this blog 3.5 years ago, it was my lifesaver. I had just left the job I had dreamt of for half my career and was burnt out with working in the fitness industry. My friends and I were looking for new workouts to do during the winter months and I had just started to train for a race after a long hiatus from racing (not from running). Because of this class reviews sort of became my blogging niche right off the bat.

Being a person who is constantly changing, this blog naturally changed. I was cured of my exercise ADD and simultaneously started talking about running all day and all night. My first love was once again in the spotlight.

This blog changed my life. I knew nothing about the blog world and all the doors it would open for me and the friendships that would be made. Recently, I’ve found that I want to get back to focusing more on this blog, but I’m overwhelmed with teaching classes, training clients, run coaching, social media consulting, and health coaching. I think it’s obvious something has to give.

HOWEVER, I’m hoping that in February I can get back on track with regular updates and giving you more tips on how to enhance you’re own running. Here’s what those less frequent, but more consistent posts will look like:

  • Weekly SIDI
  • Old school FCITC home videos
  • Random posts about fitness happenings in and about NYC and other health related adventures

Posts won’t be every day like they use to be, but they will be more consistent.

My running theme for the year is “no excuses” so I guess that should be my theme here on FCITC too.

Thanks for sticking with me!

xx

Everyone needs a reset here and there. Not to worry. And of course your blog would change as you change. That is only natural.

You have a lot going on!! Your blog changes as you change because it’s a reflection of you, your interests and passions. Love your videos and inspirational stuff too.
