Say it, Do it! {Daily}
2012 July 3
You’ve probably noticed that my weekly Say it, Do it! posts have been missing for the past few weeks. Admittedly, the charm had worn off a bit. I’m not totally giving up on SIDI, in fact it will return in some form in the near future.
Today I’m evoking SIDI because I’ve been struggling to get in my speed workouts. Now that marathon training has officially began, it’s time to nip every single excuse I can come up with in the bud!
So I’m here tonight for a quick holiday SIDI commitment. Tomorrow I will:
- Complete my planned running workout (warm-up, 3 miles @ 10k pace, cool-down)
- I will do my core exercises & pt stretches
- I will hydrate properly and fuel myself with only the foods that make me feel my best.
What are your SIDI plans for tomorrow? Are you planning anything special for the holiday?
Have a Happy 4th!

im in vienna for work so it is already the 4th. 30 mins circuit training in my bedroom. done. tomorrow i have big plans for 3 mile run. i think 30 minute workout before a conference that lasts from 9am-10pm each day is about all i can hope for.
I signed up for a Refine class and plan on also hydrating like mad. Hopefully will then sit in some water somewhere…or not. I am finding this random day off so…random! I should’ve taken the entire week.
I like your goal of making sure you eat foods that fuel your body properly and make you feel your best. I’m borrowing that goal too!
You can do it!
That’s a glorious Say It, Do It! Eating foods that make you feel your best is so satisfying and rewarding. I need to follow through with that!
