On My Ipod
Thanks to Nicole, for introducing me to this song. It’s been playing pretty much non-stop at work today. And by work I mean in my spin classes and when working at home.

Inspiration in the form of Non-Fiction
I know one of my goals for the summer is to read one non-fiction book, but I just can’t seem to stop downloading memoirs! I guess I’m always intrigued by real people doing really amazing things. This may be my one summer goal that get revised.

I agree–memoirs are so intruiging! I tend to only read non-fiction, as there is so much insight into life to be gained from reading about real people and their life experiences. Any suggestions???
Unbroken is amazing if you haven’t read it!
The Henrietta Lacks story was very interesting.
Slightly different, a historical fiction book, but you learn a ton and it is one of my favorites of all time is Snow Flower & The Secret Fan by Lisa See.
I loved Snow Flower & The Secret Fan! Great book!
YEA! Thanks for the love:) And it’s a catchy tune, right?
My girlfriend was just telling me about a Navy Seal memoir, but they are so intriguing. Good summer reading suggestion.
That sounds like it could be amazing! I need to figure out what that book is.
If you need recommendations for good fiction books, here are a few:
A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
The Shoemaker’s Wife by Adriana Trigiani
Violets of March by Sarah Jio
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer
..I loved each of them!
Thanks for the suggestions!
I love non-fiction and memoirs, too!
I never heard that song until just now.. definitely adding that into my rotation!!! I love the different speeds, prefect for spin
I am so pinning this post. I need some good reads for the next few weeks. I read Wild and I loved it. It was amazing given her journey and this last year for me, it really hit home and helped in the healing. Hope you are well. Miss you!
