Ideology at Macy’s

In spring of 2012 Macy’s will be jumping into the activewear scene with their exclusive clothing line, Ideology. Last week I got to check out the new clothing line at Dream Downtown Hotel.

Cheryl Burke, from Dancing with the Stars is the face of the brand is was on hand at the event (as was her dancing partner, Rob Kardashian). She is absolutely adorable in person!

The clothing was bright and playful. The fabrics felt soft as if they would move well with your body and wouldn’t cause any issues. Best of all they are all really affordable.

To give you an idea of the price range, the pants Cheryl is wearing in the photo with Rob retail for $48, while the Hourglass Tank (the red tank top above) retails for $34. When compared with other brands these prices sound great!

I look forward to checking out Macy’s new line when it hits stores in February 2012.

Have you tried out any new workout gear lately? What’s your “go to” brand?

{FTC: I was not compensated for this post. I did receive a complimentary gift bag at the event.}

    Those tops are really cute and definitely affordable at $34. My fave is Lulu, but of course it’s not my bank acct’s favorite. I usually default to Under Armour for running tees and C9 for everything else.

    I love the blue sports bra. I hope they give wonderful support. Glad to see they aren’t too expensive.

    Really cute stuff! My go-to is Nike. It’s just everywhere and I always know it will fit.

    I love all of the various crops and tights I have from Lucy. I adore Nike for running, especially their DriFit tanks and Tempo shorts. And Champion sports bras from Target and comfy and well made for the price.

    CUTE! I have actually been given some items from YMX, Yellowman for review & am loving them! Also like Athleta but they are expensive but love all their options!

    my go to brand is Marika.

    Not to sound like a complete sell out, but my go-to is Nike. I own a ton of their crops, running shorts and sports bras (for short runs and non-running workouts). I’m Brooks for shoes all the way. Other than that, I occasionally splurge on other brands but have no real allegiance. One brand I surprisingly own a lot of is Gap Body…I found their stuff isn’t good for running but great for yoga and spinning and cheap too. Plus I live steps from a Gap so I’m always checking out their sale racks.

    The hourglass tank is ADORABLE – I would buy that one for sure!
