Favorite things about the class:

  1. Amazing music, the time flies by because the music is so great!
  2. Challenging work-out.  Great combination of sprinting and resistance work.
  3. Rique has a great sense of humor, makes class a lot of fun, and gives varying levels of difficulty, always encouraging beginners to do the best the can but not to let the various push-ups, touch backs, jumps, etc get in the way of the ride.

Least favorite things about the class:

  1. Nothing!  Great class, amazing sweat!

Overall class rating: 5 0ut of 5 stars

Additional Comments: If i get up for a 6 am class, Rique must be pretty amazing!  He always pushes me and challenges me. I always leave his class feeling amazing!

I have heard wonderful things about Rique! I have to try his class. I especially like hearing that Rique instructs beginners not to let all the extra SoulCycle stuff get in the way of the ride. I had a pretty bad experience there which was the complete opposite of that.

i agree–rique’s class is amazing. i have taken a ton of different instructors at soul cycle and i think his class is probably one of the most challenging–in a good way :)

Rique rocks! Yes, he does go out of his way to tell beginners that they should cut out the extra moves if they are slowing them down. And to tell experienced riders that they’d better bring it!
