Class Review: Hot Bird Running Group Workout

Class: Hot Bird Running
Class Location: Brooklyn Bridge Park
Instructor: Jess Green and Meghan Reynolds
Class Description: The work-out was with two certified run coaches in Brooklyn,  We began at 7pm in Brooklyn Bridge Park with some light stretching and a 1 mile jog. From then on we ran a total of 3.5 miles, broken up with strength training exercises and uphill sprints.

Favorite things about the class:

  1. Group setting was more motivating than working our alone.
  2. Incorporated strength training.
  3. The setting of the Brooklyn Bridge Park – beautiful!

Least favorite things about the class:

  1. Would like to have a place to store belongings.
  2. More stretching at the end of the workout.

Overall Class Rating: 5 out 5 Stars

Additional Comments: Both coaches – Jess and Meghan – bring a super fun, casual vibe to the workout.  I left feeling like I had a fun time, met some new people in the community and got in a great/challenging workout!
