I’m excited about Running Essentials Thursdays. Thank you for all of the great feedback. If you haven’t already, check out the post and let me know what topics you’d like to see covered.

Here are some helpful articles I’ve found around the web this week:

Egg-cellent Labeling: Caitlin at Healthy Tipping Point breaks down what all the labels on your eggs mean.

Iron Deficiency: How to Get Enough Iron if You Don’t Eat Meat: Shape Magazine identifies ways we can improve get our needed 18 mg of iron per day.

Summer in the City: The Ultimate Wellness Guide: The girls over at Well and Good NYC have put together an excellent guide to fit events all over the city.

June 1 -7 is National CPR Week. During National CPR week Go Red For Women is asking women to make it their mission to help save a life with CPR.

Who Can You Save With CPR? Most likely a loved one.

  • 4 out of 5 cardiac arrests happen at home.

Every adult can learn CPR. Watch this one minute video to learn how to use hands only CPR, then send the video to 5 women you love.

What interesting health related articles have you read this week? Leave a link to the article in the comment section to your favorite read of the week.
