NYC Workouts For Everyone!

Living in NYC has it’s advantages and disadvantages. The cost of both rent and toilet paper are ridiculous. A four-pack of Charmin can cost up to six dollars!

I’m willing to pay an arm and a leg for everyday items, since the trade off is an amazing array of fitness classes.

Today starts an exciting new series of posts where I’ll be featuring a NYC based workouts that you can do anywhere. You’ll even have a chance to win a video of the featured workout!!! (Can we get a round of applause for free workouts???).

The first featured workout is MAT AND MORE with Tracy Campoli.

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to take the live version of Tracy’s class.

I have to admit that before taking the class I was a little reluctant to take a pilates style class (remember my struggle with roll-ups?). However, I had nothing to worry about. Tracy’s bubbly personality and sweet demeanor made the one-hour class fly by. Tracy puts flavor into more traditional moves by adding her own twists on the classics.

    I love to work on my core. I had back surgery at 26 so it puts off more surgery if I keep my core strong.

    Thanks for the replies guys! Yes, Joanna shoulders are part of arms:) hehe! The DVD is awesome and challenging! I was so tired of lame “easy” dvd’s that just when you’re starting to feel the work…it’s over. Good luck!!!

    Ohhhh I love to work my arms. I love tank tops but am a little self conscious so working my arms gives me the confidence to wear tank tops all summer!

    I like working my upper body the most but know I need to work my lower body. Unfortunately, I just had hernia surgery so I can’t work much of anything. :(

    Legs! I have never used a DVD, but I am entering because I am interested in doing so. You better clip some coupons for toilet paper! $6.00 is rediculous for toilet paper! ;)
