Waiting for the pumpkin spice latte sign to show up at Starbucks makes me feel like I’m Linus waiting for The Great Pumpkin.

Well crap! I was over the moon at the pumpkin healthier alternative you provided and THEN!! WOOO HOO

Girl, you are making my day!

I love coffee shop coffee but I’ve also figured out that the sugar is hurting my stomach. Instead I ask for the tiniest bit of syrup they can give me. Since I started doing that if they mess up and give me the regular amount it is like chomping on sugar cubes.

Great way to keep your physical bank account as well as your calorie bank account healthy! :) Now I want to go out and buy some pumpkin spice coffee!!!

Great post about cost analysis! I admit I go to Joe’s coffee everyday. I love that I know all of the baristas and it feels “small town” because all the regulars know each other. But you are right… I should reconsider how much I spend on coffee!

I love pumpkin spice lattes but it’s still TOO hot to enjoy one. My friend and I passed a fro-yo place today and they had fat-free pumpkin spice flavor! That was the perfect way to kick off the first week of September for me (and it was $3 bucks cheaper than the latte!).

I love the pumpkin spiced lattes…I think they are worth the calories/workout once and a while. You deserve the treat too I think!

Great comparison! I like the flavored coffee but I bring my own vanilla flavored stevia from NuNaturals!

Love this post! I never buy flavored lattes from Starbucks, its just too much for me. And I’d rather have a glass of wine than a bucket of sugar. Not to mention that I can’t cough up $4.50 a day.

I’m right there with you! If I’m going to drink my calories, then it’s gotta be a glass of wine!

mmmm…pumpkin spice latte (excuse the drool) I cut cost by using pumpkin Spice, Spices and sweeten with honey or agave. Soooo tasty I can drink pumpkin spice coffee year round. If i am feeling supper fancy I steam the milk and use my french press to froth it. MMMMM pumpkin Spice.

Can you believe I’ve never had a pumpkin spice latte? I always hear great things, but I just don’t buy coffee. I’d rather have wine or dessert for those calories and make my coffee at home. I love your alternative option! I’ll have to pick some up.

There is a Starbucks in the Giant Eagle where I work, and they’ve been advertising the Pumpkin Spice Latte for several weeks now. It’s crazy how good it is!! They obviously put it out early because people like it so much. I like your creation much, much better. Cheaper, lighter, and obviously better tasting….hehe, right?! Great solution to the expensive Starbuck’s drink!

    Have a great weekend!

I always get half the pumps of the pumpkin spice syrup when I do cough up the money!

    Great post, love the comparisons/examples.

    Happy (long) weekend!

I love the pumpkin lite frap, but I rarely get it b/c of the calorie cost too.

What a great idea to show the comparisons. And I’m so gonna copy you, as always……because, um YOU ROCK!! ;-)

Can’t wait to see you again soon girl. I’m up to 55 minute runs now! WOOT!

This is awesome! Love the cost analysis comparison. I love the smell of pumpkin spiced latte but actually prefer a few pumps of pumpkin syrup in my americano. Your version sounds much better!
