Isn’t it Ironic, Don’t You Think?

On Sunday night I received an email from my sweet cousin Lori asking for a way to stretch your low back. I promptly got to work on “Stretches for a Happy Back”. Last night I wrote about Yoga Tune Up. And now…

my back hurts!!!

I totally can’t believe this. It hasn’t really bothered me in over a year and just last night I couldn’t sleep because of it. UGH! I should really have taken my own good advice.

Anyhow, I’m tired and am off to do my stretches before I fall asleep.

Did I mention its almost Friday???

    Oh nooo… maybe the pain will miraculously go away overnight? Or maybe this calls for hanging out on the couch watching movies all weekend?! Although I’m not sure that would really excite you since you love to be active :)

    ACK!!! Is it the kind of sore you feel after a massage? Or back pain-pain? You know what I mean?

    Rest. Hydrate. Soak in an epsom salt bath. Recover. And if that doesn’t work….Advil! ;-)

    ummm…HERE is what is IRONIC! Just ten minutes ago, before Nick left for work, he was SINGING THAT SONG!!!! Seriously, that is SO STRANGE! He never sings that song, it was totally out of the blue….what the heck. Are you tapping our apartment?!?!

    Ugh! You jinxed it! Good thing you are all up on the best stretching research and can hopefully nip this soreness in the bud. Maybe a good dose of the weekend will help!?

    My yoga stretching has been irritating my back too… We did upper back and soldiers/neck/collarbone openers and that seemed to help me. I don’t really know why… but hope you feel better soon!

    I usuually find it means my hammys are too tight. Is that true for you? Hope you are feeling better after a night of sleep!
