Holey Cream is the New Cupcake
If you had asked me prior to Friday night if I liked donuts, the answer would be no. I’ve always thought that they were a waste of calories in relationship to their taste.
Well that all changed when we finally stopped at this new place in my neighborhood.
HOLEY Cream!!!! I’ve never experienced something quite as delightful. Since this place just opened this winter, it’s super quiet. I know it was a strange choice on a night when we got 20 inches of snow, but it was oh so perfect.
If you live in NYC you must go here. If you don’t live in NYC, you must open up a place like this because people will become addicted to this drug your selling.
Here’s how it works. You take a cake donut and choose your icing. Then you choose your toppings (think any frozen yogurt topping you’ve ever seen in your life). Then you choose your ice cream.
You can also make your own donut sans ice cream.
Share this with a friend, as its the most decadent thing that will cross your lips. My husband was hovering over me like a hawk waiting for me to give him the rest of my 1/2 of our donut.
Let’s just say that Holey Cream is the new cupcake.
I honestly don’t really like donuts either, I’m not a pastry person. But that looks unreal. Holy wow.
