Snow DAY = Dreadmill Day
2010 February 26
Thank you for all of your sweet comments on yesterday’s post! (I thought I published this last night, not Saturday)
Its no secret that I LOVE running in the snow. However today was not a day for a glorious run in the snow. It was a day to put on my snow boots and running shorts and find the closest available treadmill.

While I’m a huge advocate of running outside in the snow, I urge you to take caution and know when to stay inside.
I worked all day so I didn’t have a chance to explore the snow filled city, but what little of it I did see was filled with snow day cheer.

Hopefully this snow will stick around for a day or two so that I can build my own snowman.

Hot pic in the snow boots and shorts! Love it!
Sorry you can’t run outside in the glorious snow. It’s inspiring that you’re still goin to run even though conditions aren’t ideal inside the gym. But at least you can enjoy that amazing snowman on the back of the car!
Have a great Saturday!
The worst weather I’ve ever run in was when it was snowing and -15 C (5 F) the sidewalks were SO slippery and I was terribly slow!!
For the most part I don’t mind running in the snow, it’s the COLD that gets me and chases me inside to a treadmill! Haha
We have like 3 feet right now….UGH!!!!!!
I also love running in the snow
That is, when its already on the ground…not as it’s coming down. Then, it gets in your eyes lol
I’m so sick of all this snow. I’m sick of thinking about it, seeing it, and hearing news reports of more. I’m so ready for spring. I love your boots. I keep saying I’m going to get a pair then I wimp out because I’m a cheapskate.
I am so happy that you decided to skip the park…I was worried that you would want to venture out.
i took a 30 minute break from work on Wednesady to build a snowman at my office. the engineers were VERY impressed.
Lookin’ good girl!!!!!!!!!! At first, I thought you were wearing leg warmers
