Change of Plans

Due to a slight miss judgement on my part I had to re-write my More 1/2 Marathon training plan. My new plan begins on Monday.
After reaching my winter goal of running more than 6 miles outside in the cold, I’ve really lost my motivation to run. I’m hoping this play-list will get me through the next week of running.
Once I get started, I’m good to go. Its getting back into it that’s the hardest part.
Is anyone else starting to get the winter blues? I’m suffering from a serious case of spring fever!

What half are you running? I can’t seem to get motivated either and Im running the country music half.
The More 1/2 Marathon in Central Park. I love the Country Music 1/2! Let’s hope we find some motivation soon!

I have noticed that I have weeks with tons of motivation to train and weeks that I just don’t want to anything. I am trying to learn to somehow balance it and make it work all the time.. but’s hard.
Great playlist!! I need to update mine, it’s just getting really old. I have read a lot of blogs lately where people are talking about “Spring Fever”. While I can’t WAIT for SPring, I am still sort of enjoying the snow. I’m not a runner, however, so I can see how you would probably be looking forward to Spring a bit more than me. I don’t like running in the snow, or the cold for that matter (when I DID run) and congrats to ou for reaching your “Winter running” goal! I hope the new play list is good motivation for you

Yes!! I’m so sick of winter. I don’t feel like going outside because it’s so cold. I’m tired and grumpy. Bring on spring!!
I am not lacking motivation due to winter…..I am having a hard time recovering from this cold! Ugh! How are you feeling? Better I hope.

I’m definitely feeling the winter blues lately :/ BUT – it’s almost over!! Thankfully I have a trip to Mexico and Florida coming up, so Spring/Summer is coming a little early for me this year =) I don’t know how you run outside in the cold…that takes serious willpower and motivation (that I don’t have, haha). Way to go with that!!

I definitely feel that way in the winter! Especially since I run in the mornings and it’s always so cold and dark. Then again, I know I’ll be complaining about how HOT it is this summer when I want to run. Haha. Spring would be nice. Perfect temps
Your training looks great! I am in a total rut, too. I need a plan. Thus, I think I’m going to register for a race soon. I need structure!
