Guess who got to go for a run in the snow today?!

I almost missed the opportunity I had been waiting for since December. A sore throat kept me up for most the night last night. When I got out of bed this morning I could barely talk. I tweeted that I was going to miss my chance of running in the snow, but then I got this response:

I sat on the couch watching a live report from Central Park and spotted a lone runner in the background and that was my breaking point. I couldn’t resist the snow any longer. Screw the sore throat, I went for a run!

I know, I know… but one mile never killed anyone.

I also went to see the nurse at work today. I’ll tell you guys all about that tomorrow. Until then stay well, and enjoy the snow!

I am so jealous that you could run outside! Unfortunately for me, Baltimore isn’t very clear in terms of running.

I love your pictures though. It looks so calm and peaceful outside.

Uh oh…hope the visit to the nurse didn’t bring news of the sick! Looks like such a pretty place to run…but I’m just feeling the cold, wet snow in my shoes and shivering. You are a brave one!

Great motivational tweet you got :) . I like running in the snow, but still not sure footed after my bunion surgery. Slippery and uneven surface makes me nervous. You go girl!
