Fakin Snow

You know how fakin’ bacon kinda tastes like bacon, but isn’t bacon at all? I’ve long forgotten what bacon tastes like, so I genuinely think that fake bacon tastes like real bacon. That is until, my sweet meat loving husband takes a bite of fakin’ bacon and balks at the idea that this remotely resembles its porky counterpart.
Today is a lot like fakin’ bacon. You see we were suppose to get a glorious snow fall, but we did not. I was gravely disappointed to learn that I would not be running in the snow.
Today Winter Jam, an annual winter sports festival in Central Park, gave me what Mother Nature had denied.
Fake snow, like fakin’ bacon, isn’t like the real thing but is almost good enough to fool the senses until the next real snow fall.

I’ll have to try fakin bacon, I tried this vegan jerkey that was bacon flavored…tasted great. I just don’t remember the name.

I was SO disappointed in NYC today. Seriously. Just snow already!
I went to Florida for Christmas and they had a park full of the fake stuff. The kids were having a blast! Of course, I flew home on Christmas day in the blizzard of 2009 and that snow is still on the ground!
Really? You guys didn’t get any snow?!?! It looked like you got a TON on the news!! We hot tons here, but I guess you guys deserve a break
I love the fake bacon, and Nick won’t eat it. MEN.
I genuinely think ground turkey tastes like ground beef!! Until I have the occasional burger. MMM

lol I actually got about an inch of snow in my neighborhood lol…I saw that on NY1, it looked so cool.
You can have our Columbus, Ohio snow! The winter festival looked like fun though
