Running Blahs

Did you know that there is Fit TV and Exercise TV? Until this afternoon, I didn’t even realize that they aren’t the same thing. I think I use to get Fit TV and now I get Exercise TV?

Anyhow, I am sleeeepy! I’m meeting SJT at 6 am for a run. I hope bribing myself works in the winter months.

I’ve been really struggling with my runs lately and have to snap out of it. I seem to have lost my mojo. I’m hoping that after a complete day of rest, I’ll be ready to run again tomorrow. As you can see I need to get in more mileage.

I really don’t want to complain about NYC, but sometimes the park just gets to be so boring! If I don’t snap out of this blah spell soon, I’ll have to revert to running with my ipod. At least I have a play-list ready and waiting if I have to go that route.

    Great playlist! It’s so hard to run with it being so cold. I went running tonight and even though it was the warmest (relative term) we’ve had in a while my lungs were still burning.

    Yeah I would definitely go back to the Ipod (why did you stop?), keeps things more interesting!
    Also, have you tried Yoga Sculpt On Demand (exercise tv). It’s only 30 minutes but it’s all yoga and really tough!

    I did not know there were two different names for the same channel! Maybe that’s why some people look at me like, “Whattt???” when I mention Exercise TV, haha!

    As for the blahs, I’m feeling them too, but really just with my workout in general. I was on the elliptical yesterday thinking I would rather be doing anything else. I need to figure out something to jazz it up! I love your playlist, great ideas.

    Yeah- why did you stop with the ipod? I guess there are not other places to run. I hope you feel better about running!
