Let me introduce you to my new running partner, Pacey.

I think we’re gonna be good friends, as long as he doesn’t go all Type A on me.

Although, I wimped out yesterday on running in the cold, I have to get out there today. One of my goals for the winter is to run outside for longer than six miles throughout the winter months. The past two winters my longest runs were 6 miles and usually only 4. To stay motivated I signed up for a 1/2 marathon that’s on January 24th.

My goal isn’t to set a PR in terms of time, its simply to set a winter running distance PR. Therefore, I haven’t won’t be doing much speed work. Here’s my training plan:

Alright, I’ve procrastinated enough. Its time to head out into the cold for 5 miles. Have a great Wednesday!

Ohhh like Pacey from Dawson’s Creek?! hehe, jk. I loved him :)

Good for you for pushing yourself and signing up for that race!! That’s sort of what I did by posting that I wanted to write this cookbook. By posting it I knew I had to be accountable for it, therefore I am much more likely to actually cook a good meal twice a week, and blog about it!

I know you will succeed with your goal. As long as you’ve got Pacey’s help you’re golden! :) Have a Happy New Year Jess.
