remind me of the runs i used to have in Mpls, MN growing up AND then in Chicago along lake shore drive. Somewhat beautiful…but extremely cold! You’re brave!

It’s the closest I’ll get to NYC this year! Aside from my two friends, Claire and Amanda, who are coming in town this week straight from the city (so excited!). These pictures make me feel like a kid again, with the sledding and cross country skiing (ok, I did that ONCE..). Thanks for sharing, I’m jealous of the winter wonderland.

Yeah, can you believe how much caffeine I was consuming? It’s no wonder I had random pain in my abdomen, and couldn’t ever sleep. Graduate school will do that to you….

Just found your blog and wanted to say hello. I’m so jealous of the snow, I miss it living in the south! I can’t wait until I can work myself up to running 7 miles :)

Wow, it looks like you had a great run. How do you deal with the slick surfaces? I have hurt my ankles several times and one of them is still not back to normal after 3 years! I’d be so afraid of slipping.

Vicki, I it was slippery out there yesterday and I too have fragile, injury prone ankles. I ran super slow and tried to stay on the snowy part of the roads vs the plowed part of the roads.
