Turkey Carving
Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope you had an amazing time today, and took a minute or two to give thanks!
I was able to practice my black friday crowd navigation skills on my way to Central Park. Apparently, I headed out for my run just when the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was ending. My street does not normally look like this accept on New Years Eve (just replace the little kids with teenagers drinking out of paper bags).

No worries, though I made it to my sanctuary safe and sound. Despite the perfect weather my legs were not feeling it today, so I called it short at 3.5 miles.

When I came home, we finally got around to carving our turkey.
.

And now I’m sitting here on the couch thinking about how thankful I am for everything I’ve been blessed with including you, my wonderful friends from the blogosphere.

Your knife skills on that pumpkin rival Julia Child’s! Dang girl…you’re good!!!
hahahahhahah I love it. Happy Thanksgiving
Now, that’s MY kind of turkey!
I hope you had a happy day!
Great job on the “turkey”! It looks fantastic!!!
Glad you had a great Thanksgiving Jessica.
Ha I love your carved Turkey lol
Wow, great pumpkin! Did you freehand that?! It looks really neat.
Adi, we did not freehand it. I hate to admit that we had to use a stencil.
LOVE the pumpkin turkey or turkey pumpkin….
The leaves in that photo is absolutely gorgeous!
I’m thankful you live in NYC – I love checking out city life through your blog. I think I was a New Yorker in a former life.
Oh wait, I am a NY’er. Just an upstate NY’er.
I Agree with Alison, I reckon I was a New Yorker in a former life and I’ve never even been there haha. I was supposed to get there for my vacation last week and I was pretty darn excited about it but I got called back to work. Doh!!
That’s too bad! Hopefully, you’ll get here soon!
Love the turkey!! SO cute!
