Oxymoron
Thank you for your unknown encouragement yesterday! I missed my morning run due to permanently losing my keys. This meant I had to run last night after work. I did not to run that late. My Fail Proof Ways to Not Miss a Workout, weren’t doing their job.
I knew that if each one of you were standing next to me, you would say “GO NOW!” I promptly got dressed and went for a short run. It was glorious just like Sunday! Thank you!
I just had to repost this video, just in case there was one person left on earth that hasn’t seen it yet.
I like to think that my “fat talk” has improved over the course of time. In many ways it has, but in some ways its still lurking around rearing its ugly head. I may just be an oxymoron at times (if a person can be that). The husband has pointed out to me that in the same sentence I can compliment my body and call it fat at the same time. Why don’t we listen to the compliments more than we listen to the complaints?
I promise I’ll be back tonight with the Winner of Power Tuesday Trivia! I just had to get this out of my head and onto the blog.

I have done that compliment myself in one breath, then rip myself down in the next! Why?! I am trying to be more conscious of how I speak to myself because I would never talk to anyone else the way I do to myself!
Great job on getting out there for your run even though circumstances tried to get in your way!!!!

I am glad to hear you had a great run =)
I really want to stop the fat talk, I know I do it way too much and it comes so easily. Great video, thank you for sharing it!
yeah I know what you mean . . . I can be like “oh my shoulders are really looking great right now, but ewww look at those veins in my leg” . . . really, true story
Morgan, that’s exactly what I mean. My husband always laughs at me when I say silly stuff like that.
That video is amazing. It’s not the first time I’ve seen it. But it just is an awesome reminder every time I view it.
HA! We are way too hard on ourselves aren’t we! Love the video, too, btw. Thanks for posting it here.
