Hotel Room Mini Workout

This is a fantastic workout to do when you’re strapped for time or on vacation. The best part??? Its a full body workout that only takes 20 minutes to complete!

There are five sets that consist of two exercises.  Each set should be done twice. You can complete all sets one time and then repeat or perform each set twice before moving on to the next. (Please excuse the ugly hotel carpet and curtain combo)

1st Set:

1. 30 Jumping Jacks to warm up.

2. Do as many push-ups as possible.

You are adorable! I just wrote a hotel workout for a friend of mine. Not sure if she actually used it or not….I probably should follow up ;-)

When I would travel a ton for business, I often would my suitcases for weight (I would load them with anything I could find in the hotel room to add weight: Think bibles and phone books). These make shift weights were good for overhead presses, rows, deadlifts, front squats. I used to do step ups onto the coffee table, too. Oh, and I’d run stairs if the gym was closed or treadmills were on fire (wink, wink)!

You really should just come to MA and be my trainer.

Great workout ideas! Too bad I usually end up doing a whole bunch of nothing on vacation – I need some motivation bad!
