Give What You Can
There was a little bribery involved in getting out for my workout again today. Yes, a drug Starbucks was involved.
Hey, ya gotta stick with what works! All the time clients ask questions such as when is the best time to workout or if one mode of cardio is better than another. Simple, do what works. Coffee happens to work for me.
I had the privilege to teach a class outside tonight. Central Park may be the number one reason an outdoor girl like myself can survive in a concrete jungle.
Speaking of feeling privileged I absolutely loved hearing why you each feel like you live a privileged life! We are a fortunate group.
Today’s workout was a spin class at the gym. I don’t remember the last time I took a class. I needed to take a class. We often get so caught up in giving that we forget that we need to take in order to give.
Tonight I want to remind you to give what you can but to also take what you need.

I have always thought it would be so neat to have an outside gym. Whenever I workout I always wish I was outside.
Coffee gets me out of bed every morning. The first thing I do is make my coffee, and it brightens me up in minutes!
Thank you for sharing your name story on my blog today. I know how it goes with stubborn family members. Just gotta shrug em off I guess, but yeah, 20+ yrs later they should probably get over it, huh
Good for you for taking a class!! I love Central Park…
I always want to live in NYC anytime anybody posts about it. I love Starbucks. Maybe I should bribe myself with it next time too!
I haven’t taken a spin class in so long.. I should go soon! I used to love it
Ah! I would love to take a class outdoors someday! Maybe I should try to start doing more yoga outdoors before the weather changes. That just sounds soooo fun!
How was class?
Maria, the class was really really good! The instructor’s style is totally different from mine, so it was great to do something different.
Starbucks works for me, too! Thanks for the food for thought…you’re right, sometimes it’s ok to step back and be the student.
coffee is very inspiring.
