The Running Fairy

2009 August 11

Just a quick post before I head to bed.  When I came home from work tonight this was waiting for me.

It seems someone must have read my earlier post and thought I was up for a challenge. :)  I’ve never been one for gadgets.  However, I really want my 800 meter repeats to be on target.

Pretty sure I have the best Hubby ever!  I totally wasn’t expecting this!  However, if I keep referring to my husband as a fairy, no doubt this will be my last surprise.

Super sweet! That’s so cute of the running fairy :)

I have a heart rate monitor and probably have the opposite problem than your client in that I never like my heart rate to be normal. I’ve been working on allowing myself to chill during a workout. Not all of them have to be flat out, drenched in sweat, muscles tired at the end, to be a workout!

Ha! Your line about your husband made me think of a funny scene in Julie & Julia … I won’t give it away, but if you see it, you’ll know what I’m talking about!

OOOO, I LOVE FAIRIES! (: haha, I’d be careful too about calling the hubs such a feminine thing! What all can that watch do? I’m considering getting myself an athletic watch.. any good recommendations?

    Yay for new stuff!
    Happy humpday!

I wasn’t even sure so I got this from their website:

Tracks distance, pace, time and calories burned
Memory captures and stores 30 hours’ worth of running data
Removable Nike+ Link for quick connection to nikeplus.com
Doubles as a watch with time display
